OK I'm having fun with this DA thing so I've dug waaaaaaay back and found this... the first drawing of The Powerpuff Girls (then the Whoopass Girls) ever! Done in 1991, ( Gaaah 17 years ago!!) if it looks strange it's 'cause it was done on orange construction paper only 1 inch big.

Notice Bubbles' and Buttercup's colors are switched. I actually remember changing it by the second drawing.

Before even reading the comment where you said it was on orange construction paper, I looked at this close and got that same feeling. I think my color sense is getting better these days.

Ooo the first pic of them ever, what a treat!

Their eye shape makes them look more Asian, it's epically visible on Bubbles =3

Oh wow, it's so interesting to see how their current designs were influenced by this initial sketch! Blossom's hair reminds me of A Sticky Situation, haha. :3
